The keyboard is simply fantastic. The feeling when typing and the responsiveness are quite a feast. It is very hard to choose a keyboard, most times we can't test it in advance, and they are not cheap. So, let me try to give you a sense of what this keyboard is about. Cons - I am using the keyboard on MacOS Sonoma, Macbook Pro. The software doesn't work well, it is extremely buggy. As of today I have version 51.0.0 of SteelSeries GG Client, latest as of Nov 23. The software is frequently unable to detect the keyboard, at keyboard power on, or the software is in itself unable to start up, the software GUI would not appear. Sometimes I had to restart the Macbook. - The keyboard depends on the software to be able to use the features. For example, without software, all the keys would be illuminated in a rainbow fashion, and you can only put those lights off with the inbuilt keyboard function, so, it is with rainbow or no lights at all. The software must be running and detecting the keyboard at all times. There is no inbuilt memory in keyboard to store profiles. This is to me an incredible downside. - The battery takes long to charge. But, not a big deal to me, I can just let it charge overnight. Still I prefer it since it reduces the clutter in my desk when working, hence wireless. Pros - I have also a Logitech G PRO (not wireless), and the feeling when typing on this keyboard is far better than the Logitech. It is really a pleasure to type on this keyboard. It also feels much more responsive. - I don't have any issues with the missing arrow keys or pg up/down keys. This keyboard uses a function key that when pressed allow me to use , i.e., the w, a, s and d keys as arrow keys. It didn't take me long to get used to it and the benefits of having a 60% keyboard are really worthy. - The 60% sizing plus wireless option are great to reduce clutter on the desk and get a more comfortable day to day working/gaming life with the computer/laptop. Summary: there is a huge downside when it comes to software. The software is very amateur, I am really shock at this. I expected SteelSeries to have a robust software. The keyboard though, is really, really nice. Would I buy it again: yes, because as of today I am not aware yet of a 60% wireless keyboard where typing is this nice.Leggi di più
